Redbus is actually a new restaurant in my college area. The decoration and the vintage-double-decker-red-bus concept of the restaurant is really pretty. We came there after a dance practice in the dance studio across the place.
Besides the prtty decoration, it’s kind of new around the town to have a Malaysian cuisine restaurant. Their specialty is actually Nasi Lemak but i didn’t order that, lol. Well, not that i have tasted it before, other menus just look more appetizing.
The dish was quite great, the taste of the sauce was reminded me of the sauce they served on Nasi Campur, one of the Chinese-Indonesian food, so, it’s not quite a new taste to my tongue. The topping were crabstick, prawn, slices of fishcake, mushroom, egg, and a little vegetable. But it’s still delicious. Can’t wait to try othe menus next time!

Roasted Lobster with Calamari and Matah Chilli

It’s been a long long long time since the last time i ate lobster. It’s been years!

The price is well, pretty expensive, but hey, lobster alone is one of the expensive seafood. It’s around 11$ per plate. It’s super worthy for me. It’s not an every day meal that i could usually afford but for the God of Lobster, it’s super delicious! The freshly roasted lobster and deep fried calamari, and don’t forget the important thing which is Matah Chilli.

According to my friend who has tasted it before, Matah Chilli is really great, so, because i don’t want to half-assing myself in trying a new culinary, i tried it myself. And i LOVE it. It was a mixed of chilly, onion, garlic, and other spices that mixed and stirred together, left a spicy and Indonesian kind of taste in my mouth. It was a perfect match with the lobster.

The calamari was also great, but it’s nothing new for me. I really like calamari though.

I was glad i went hangout with one of my best friends, Shinta and Moncath. It’s been a long time since we went out or just having a meal together. Not that we’ve been hanging out much either before this, especially with Moncath. But well, we definitely need to hangout together some more because it’s super fun and we got to know each other more through the night. Let’s get this work finish quickly and run away to the world of luxury food again! LOL

Zaru Udon - cold Japanese udon served with shoyu sauce

Well, i always craving for some cold noodles. At first i was coming there with my friend, Giska, thinking about cold soba. It turned out that they only serve udon dish, they don’t serve different kinds of noodles. The price is a bit high so i ended up bought 2 different udon menus and ate them together.
This one is served cold. It’s really a new experience tasting a cold noodle. :’) And it’s great! Their shoyu is somehow different it’s not plain salty like what we had before, it’s more tasty and savory. It’s a pretty simple dish but it’s delightful. I have no regret.
